Modern French Design
The Corsair 760 offers this better performance than any other high-performance sport boats. Designed by Francois Perus and his team at Perus Yacht Design Corsair 760 is based on the long feedback list by current owners of its predecessor. In cruising mode, it is incredibly easy to sail, even single-handed. All sail controls lead back to the cockpit. The 760 sails with almost zero heeling, it slips through the water with a minimum of fuss and gets you to your destination quickly & safely.
Reversed bows and high volume floats
Larger volume floats with reverse bows and a low centre of buoyancy offer a 15% increase in the righting moment and a 2.5° reduction in heel angle at comparable wind speeds. The lower rocker design also reduces pitching and hobby horsing. All these features will offer significant performance gains but do not come at the sacrifice of safety. In fact, with the larger righting moments and ultra-modern float design, the safety factor is significantly increased.
Plot your own destination and you can get there by road and then enjoy your sailing
Easy to trailer by mid-size vehicle to explore destinations far and away from home. Imagine spending your family holidays in different location all over the country depending on the season without the necessity of sailing there. Corsair 760 gives you a choice of quality time with your family and an opportunity to venture far and beyond. You can sail around Australia or around the world by road or water. The bow pulpit incorporates mast support for trailering, eliminating the need for a separate part.
Stable, quick and safe on the water
The beams are significantly larger than the previous DASH, primarily to take the additional loads of the added buoyancy and righting moments. These beam profiles offer less windage and better water deflection.
The large-volume floats with wave-piercing bows have increased beam clearance over the waves. Beams are the same style as on the Pulse 600 and more effective for deflecting water.
Like all Corsair trimarans, the 760 is built to withstand the toughest conditions.
Trimarans are famous for their lightweight, performance and relative comfort and new Corsair 760 is no exception.
Easy to sail even singlehanded
All control lines onboard lead back to the cockpit and roller fullers make it easier to manage the sails.
Each float is held in position by two bolts, fore and aft. There is optional storage space in the floats accessed by port and starboard deck hatches.
The nets are providing extra space to relax or to keep the crew out for improved performance
New roomy and stylish cabin
Sufficient cabin space will comfortably accommodate a family or a group of friends. While LED mood lighting and white interior create an image of larger space contrasted by the colour cushions.
The centre table is supported by the daggerboard case and can be lowered to create a double bed in the salon or can be simply stowed away.
The forward section in front of the daggerboard case is occupied by a double berth. A deck hatch provides natural light and airflow through the interior.
Pop the top for full standing room
It is an excellent idea to increase the interior height around companionway in the galley area. When not sailing a large “pop up top” hatch also delivers plenty of natural ventilation and lighting, especially with its encapsulated window.
