The crew will assemble at our Multihull Central marina in Sydney where the catamaran will depart and sail offshore to Pittwater for several days of training and then return with another offshore trip back to Sydney.
Multihull Central in partnership with Pacific Sailing School, one of the Australia's leading RYA sailing schools, bring you the first RYA accredited catamaran specific sailing courses offered in Australia. Join us on our new 38ft Seawind 1160 cruising catamaran with one of the 5 day live aboard courses which will equip you with the skills, techniques, and certifications required to sail or charter safely anywhere in the world. Our very own Service Manager and Qualified Yacht Master, Brett Hodder will be providing you the onboard tuition. Brett has owned several cruising catamarans and cruised extensively through the South Pacific and delivered catamarans from Asia and the Pacific to Australia.

CATAMARAN RYA COMPETENT CREW COURSE
Great course for beginners and families . This course is for those wanting to be active crew members rather than just passengers. By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, and assist in the daily routines of life sailing onboard where safety is paramount.
Cost $1,670 per person including provisioning
CATAMARAN RYA DAY SKIPPER COURSE
Suits those preparing to skipper their own cruising catamaran.
This program of courses is designed to teach you to be the "Skipper" or take charge and combines both theoretical and on- water education. The skipper is responsible for the safety of the yacht and all crew. These responsibilities include weather forecasting, victualling, engine maintenance, sail selection and vessel handling, passage planning, watch keeping, navigation and pilotage. You will be assessed as to your theory, sailing and seamanship skills. This is a pass or fail course and a pass is the minimum requirement for the ICC (International Certificate of Competence – Skipper / Charter vessels worldwide)
