The final race in the Multihull Central Twilight Series saw more boats than ever enter the fleet and join in the fun! With 13 boats in attendance and the a drive by guest appearance from one of the AC 45s, it was a special day on the harbour and an amazing race to be a part of.

The jazzed up Farrier 47 “Ricochet” took out line honors and 2nd place on handicap, this vessel runs skippered charters on Sydney Harbour and actually had guests on board, what a great way to end a day out on the water. First on Handicap was Multihull Central’s Director Brent Vaughan on board the Malcoml Tennant designed Turissimo 9 “Flyer” showing the that these smaller cats can really perform, the boat is also currently for sale.

New Seawind 1160 owners Peter & Margaret had just taken delivery of their boat and competed in the race with guest Frank Moloney, also a Seawind owner. This was their first ever race of any kind and they sailed the boat brilliantly, toasting their new boat & their success with champagne under the Harbour Bridge upon their return to the club house.

With such strong support for the series the Multihull Central Twilight Races will be back again next year!

Throughout the winter we will be holding a range of different events to keep the community together including the Mega Multihull Central Regatta | 18 – 20 April ( MORE INFO ). We strongly recommend heading down the coast to participate in this great regatta.
