Multihull Central Twilight Race 4 – Results and Photos

Multihull Central’s Race 4 in the Twilight series saw it’s best numbers with 10 boats across the start line even if some were a little late out of the blocks. The fleet saw 4 new entries of a wide variety with a Malcolm Tennent 9 Flyer, a Seawind 1000XL Beach House, Lagoon 410 Double Diamond and an Altantic 48 Resolute which won Line Honors a full 8 minutes over the second boat!

Once again the sun was shining and the winds were up with around 20 knots for the entire race. The winner, who is also the current series leader is Outremer 49 “Alidade” with skipper Kim Hooper, this boat seems to improve each month and is a clear example that social racing is a great way to learn about your boat and the nuances that go along with it.

Once again the fleet headed back to the club house for dinner & presentations with skippers, crew, guests & marina tenants.

Race 5 will be held on the 21st of February and is the second last race in the series. Once again we invite all Multihull owners to participate and ask those already involved to talk to your fellow multihull sailors and spread the word! We also have some small posters available if people know a good spot to put some up!
