The all new Outremer 45 launched at the Cannes Boat Show in France only a year ago, is now on display at Multihull Central, with an Open Day announced for Saturday the 7th of November, from 10am to 3pm.
The Outremer 45 is a true blue water cruiser and is purpose built for sailing the world’s oceans in comfort and safety, with a high performance hull designed to reduce the passage making time and maximize time spent at the destinations. The Outremer 45 on display is a great example of this, with the owners having sailed from Europe to Australia across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
The boat was designed by and collaboration between Outremer and Barreau-Neuman naval architects, Franck Darnet interior design, and Patrick le Quement for deck systems and operations. The design features high and powerful hulls with generous buoyancy and high bridge deck clearance, for sailing in large seas. Inside, the OUtremer 45 offers comfortable and luxurious living, with four cabins, a saloon with 360 degree visibility and galley up, plus a cockpit that offers a easy walk through transom and cockpit table.
Outremer Yachts have continued to lead the way in production boat building of high performance cruising catamarans, with the company winning multiple European Boat of the Year awards in recent years. The current range of Outremer include the new 45, a 51, the 59ft 5X, and the recently announced 74ft 7X.
Multihull Central was awarded Outremer International Dealer of the Year in 2014 to help launch the brand in Australia, with half a dozen Australian Outremer owners now either cruising the world, or with boats on order.
The company also distribute Seawind, Corsair and Aquila power catamarans.
