Whether you plan to go cruising in your retirement, take a mid-career SEAbbatical, or simply like the idea of a floating holiday house in paradise, Syndication can help fund the dream of owning a luxury catamaran by significantly reducing the cost of ownership and offering the luxury of stepping off the boat and let someone else worry about the maintenance.
How does a Cruising Syndicate work?
Our syndicates are designed to help like minded people affordably and time effectively take time out to go cruising, be it in Australia or the South Pacific. We have smaller groups between 2-6 members, self managed bylaws that keep ongoing costs low, and calendars that are planned well in advance so you know when you will be cruising. Our syndicates may have one home port but unlimited destinations that the group may choose to cruise to.
Why a syndicate boat?
There are four key reasons why syndicate boats are a popular choice of ownership:
Syndicate boat ownership helps accelerate getting you on the water now, rather than waiting until retirement. This means you start gaining experience on your own boat and brings you a step closer to going cruising to new destinations sooner.
The Aquila 36 syndication boat is available through Smart Boating at Clontarf Marina, allowing you to explore Sydney harbour to the fullest.
So many bays to anchor, stay overnight, and explore the National Forest at leisure by access many others do not get.
The Aquila 44 and Outremer 45 are both located at Yachtshare in Manly, Queensland with world-class facilities, an active sailing community and Moreton Bay at your doorstep
We all know how little time we get to spend on holidays with our friends and family, so it makes a big difference when your boat has been professionally maintained by a syndication company ready for you to step onboard and enjoy. There is no need to spend hours doing maintenance before you go out boating. The hard work has already been done.
