This ocean going Crowther Catamaran was built professionally and launched in 2003. The current owners have cruised the east coast and Pacific for the last 5 years. The boat has constantly been maintained with a recent complete rig overhaul and the hull has just been repainted. She is a big comfortable well equipped boat that is ready to go world cruising now.
This 2004 Seawind 1000 “Kind-a-Magic” is in great condition having been upgraded with new engines, rigging, front windows, window covers, instruments, trampoline mats, boom bag, winch supports. There is nothing you need to spend and you can have this beautiful boat on your mooring immediately.
It is easy to understand the popularity of the Leopard 44, especially as a family cruising boat. Its solidly built, cleverly designed with an emphasis on privacy and comfort. Here's a rare opportunity to acquire a late model example in New Zealand. 3 cabin owners version. 1 private owner from new with twin Yanmar 39HP (to be confirmed along with hours run) diesels, generator and air-conditioning installed.
Designed by the American team of Gino Morrelli and Pete Melvin, the Leopard 44 is built in South Africa by Robertson and Caine. The combination of innovative design, excellent performance and robust construction has come to define the Leopard series. It is renowned for introducing the forward cockpit to the cruising catamaran market. The owners version sets aside the whole starboard side hull exclusively for the owners. Starting aft, there’s a generous queen berth and large hanging locker. In-hull portlights keep the natural light flowing. Continuing forward there’s an amidships lounge, with a settee and a small desk. The head and separate shower are all forward. There’s a locker that houses a washer and dryer and a linen closet as well.
Two guest cabins occupy the port hull. Each includes a double berth and en-suite head. There is a single berth all the way forward, and unless the bunk is needed it makes an excellent storage bin. Price quoted is subject to currency fluctuations. Taxes and duties may apply.
This boat is fully equipped and you can be sailing for Xmas. At $249000 this Seawind 1000xl represents great value and is a boat you will be proud of.
This boat is a must see for any serious Seawind buyer.
This stunning Farrier F-36 trimaran was designed by multihull designer Ian Farrier and lovingly built by John, the current owner on the premises of Adam Stafford (shipwright and boat builder). It was commissioned in 2010 and “Enough Rope” is moored in the beautiful Moruya river on the NSW south coast.
The design began as an F-36 but was stretched with Ian Farrier’s approval. The aft sections were extended to make the boat 39ft 11in overall. This increased the length of the aft cabin, enabling the incorporation of a large king size berth and improving the water exit at the transom for reduced drag. Other enhancements include offset companion way to the aft cabin, a “hammerhead” anchor platform at the bow providing good working area for anchor deployment, a swing keel along with kick up rudder allowing very shallow water to be navigated.
The boat is set up for cruising with wind vane steering complemented by an auto pilot, weather instruments, radar, screecher with removable prodder, Spectra 150 watermaker, very large Rocna anchor with 75m chain and two spare anchors with chain, two 80 watt solar panels, a wind generator and brand new batteries along with many spares and tools. The head is a composting system. The boat has had a recent repaint in polyurethane, new trampolines, a full set of manuals, Coastal navigation atlases and maps and has just been antifouled making it ready to go.
John has cruised the east coats of Australia including two trips to Tasmania and has also sailed the boat single handed on many of the short coastal hops and the boat has Australian Registration for international use.
This immaculately maintained and presented Perry 43 now comes on the market after many years making memories on Port Hacking south of Sydney. Originally built to survey standard, this boat has been nursed since new, mostly sailing inshore for family outings and has been fastidiously maintained by the owner without a dollar being spared.
It features three large spacious cabins, generous saloon with carpet throughout, and a fully enclosed cockpit with clears and curtains with a teak floor. The Perry 43 is one of the great ocean going cruising catamarans and would suite a world cruise as much as a family holiday house afloat.
To be on the water this summer cruising call today for further information as boats this good do not last long.
Simple Strong and very capable coastal cruiser. I know this boat well having owned it myself a number of years ago. Since that time, the current owner has improved and refreshed the vessel over his 12 years of ownership. Presents in fantastic condition. All systems and gear is well in date and she is ready to go cruising, ready for immediate sail on return from current Capricorn Coast trip. Recently surveyed for insurance - there is nothing to do.
Everything you need including the ability to take over a very attractively priced private berth.
This 36 foot catamaran launched in 2007 is a boat you need to see. It has been built to the highest standard with incredible attention to detail including a full external repaint in 2015.
It has cruised the east coast and is such a great sailing boat that the engines are rarely used and have less than 1000 hours on them.
The boat easily cruises at around 12 knots and has a sail plan that is easy to manage with all controls leading back to the cockpit.
The interior is well laid out with 2 queens, a seperate aft cabin with double and 2 forward singles, with a big head and shower. The boat is light and with great ventilation makes for easy live aboard.
Offering more space for her length than most other similar sized catamarans, she is one of Schionning’s most popular designs. Great sailing performance and simple systems for easy handling combine with her great aesthetics and practical size to make her a great option.
She shares the “Schionning” design pedigree, featuring great bridge-deck clearance, ample reserve buoyancy and the latest composite engineering that owners depend on.
The Wilderness 1100 is a great coastal and extended cruiser as well as excelling in races and regattas while still sleeping 4-6 family and friends.
