We take the HH50-SC ‘Synergy’ out sailing off the Gold Coast to test how it sails in lumpy conditions and light winds and provide a full overview of the boat inside and out with the owner.

Carbon Construction
Carbon fibre construction equals a strong, very light, extremely rigid platform integral for safe and efficient sailing. Designed with short handed sailing in mind, the deck layout on the HH50 has been carefully configured with all sail controls at the helms to maximise ease of use.
Performance Cruising
Though simple to sail, the HH50 is far from subdued. ‘Raceboat in disguise’ technology abound, and equal to wind speed performance is the norm. After days or weeks of exhilarating offshore passage making, fully retractable curved daggerboard allow you to secure the best pot in the anchorage and explore the dreamy shallows.
Saloon and Cockpit
The HH50 features a spacious general arrangement. The large saloon offers a generous sized galley to starboard with an island just outboard of centerline. Seating for six around a large dining table and a dedicated navigation station are to port. When at anchor the sail handling area easily converts to an a comfortable forward facing seating area. An attractive eyebrow around the cabin top adds to the aggressive styling but is very practical in creating much needed sun shade in the salon as well as creating a safety hand hold when walking the side decks. The aft cockpit is perfect for entertaining: a settee and table set the stage for dining al fresco, made complete by an integrated wet bar and barbecue.
